UBS Arena at Belmont Park opened in 2021 as the home of the New York Islanders and quickly became Long Island’s biggest concert venue. It’s also a venue where the last 20 minutes of the journey can take longer than the first 40. Hempstead Turnpike backs up from the Cross Island Parkway on game nights, the lots take an hour to empty, and the LIRR’s Elmont station only runs event trains. If you’d rather be talking about the game than the traffic, a chauffeured car service to UBS Arena is the fix.

Where does a car service drop you at UBS Arena?
The arena’s official rideshare and drop-off zone is on the north side off Hempstead Turnpike (Route 24), near the main entrance plaza. Chauffeured vehicles use the same designated zone, but the difference is what happens after: instead of hunting for a stranger’s Camry in a scrum of 300 people, you walk to a black SUV your chauffeur has positioned and texted you about.
For suite holders and premium ticket guests, ask us about the premium entrance drop on the Belmont Park Road side — it’s a shorter walk to the Dime Club and the suite elevators.
The post-event pickup plan (the part that matters)
Anyone can get you to the arena. Getting you out is the skill.
- Hourly “as-directed” booking. Your chauffeur stays with the vehicle for the whole event, so there’s no re-dispatch and no surge. This is how most of our Islanders-season regulars book.
- Staging position. During the third period or the encore, the chauffeur moves to the pickup zone before the crowd.
- Text when you’re at your seat for the final minutes. By the time you reach the plaza the car is already at the curb.
- Exit route. We usually leave via Belmont Park Road toward the Cross Island rather than fighting Hempstead Turnpike, saving 15–25 minutes on a sold-out night.

Islanders game nights: timing
- 7:30 p.m. face-off: leave Hicksville by 6:15, Manhattan by 5:45.
- Weeknight games overlap with the Hempstead Turnpike commute; add 15 minutes.
- Playoff games and Rangers/Islanders rivalry nights: add 30 minutes and book the car a week ahead — Sprinters sell out.
Concerts at UBS Arena
Concert exits are slower than hockey exits because everyone leaves at once. Our chauffeurs stage before the last two songs; if you leave with the crowd, expect a 10–15 minute walk-and-load, then a fast exit on our route. Big tours (residencies and multi-night runs) mean multiple nights of demand — reserve early.
Group and celebration transportation
- Birthday at the game: party Sprinter with LED lighting and sound for 10–14, pickup from a home in Nassau, drop at the plaza, return after.
- Corporate suite nights: executive Sprinter picking up from a Long Island office park or a Midtown lobby; chauffeur stays on site.
- Youth hockey teams: two Suburbans or one Sprinter with room for gear.
Can you pick up from the Elmont LIRR station instead?
Yes, though on event nights the station area is congested; a home or hotel pickup is usually smoother.
Is there a minimum booking for events?
Point-to-point transfers have no minimum. As-directed bookings (chauffeur waits) have a 3-hour minimum, which covers most games.
Do you serve Belmont Park racing days (Belmont Stakes)?
Yes — the Belmont Stakes in June is one of our busiest days; book 3–4 weeks ahead.
What if the game goes to overtime or a shootout?
No problem. Your as-directed booking simply runs a little longer; we bill in 30-minute increments after the reserved time.
Can I bring drinks in the vehicle?
Yes, for passengers 21 and over, in the Sprinter and party bus. Sedans and SUVs allow sealed beverages.
