MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey is 82,500 seats, two NFL teams, and a parking exit that regularly takes 90 minutes. From Long Island it’s a two-bridge, two-state trip; from Manhattan it’s a bus from Port Authority or a train change at Secaucus. How long does it take to get to MetLife Stadium from Long Island?
The route from Long Island crosses the Throgs Neck or Whitestone, then the George Washington Bridge or — on the worst days — the Lincoln Tunnel. Your chauffeur picks based on live conditions.

Tailgating with a chauffeured Sprinter
MetLife allows tailgating in the general lots. A Sprinter or party bus needs a bus/oversized parking pass, which the stadium sells in advance for select lots (typically Lot L and the bus lots). Here’s the play:
- Buy the oversized-vehicle pass as soon as tickets go on sale.
- We arrive 3–4 hours before kickoff; the chauffeur parks, you set up.
- Coolers, grills (propane only, no charcoal) and chairs travel in the rear cargo area.
- Chauffeur stays with the vehicle throughout, so it’s secure and ready when you are.
For sedans and SUVs there’s no special pass; standard parking is around $40–50 and included in your quote if you tell us you’re tailgating.
Drop-off and pickup zones
If you’re not tailgating, we use the rideshare / car service drop-off area near the stadium’s pedestrian bridges. After the game, the same zone becomes chaos; our chauffeurs instead stage in a pre-agreed spot on the far side of the lots that we’ll text you, and use the Route 3 / Route 120 exits away from the main flow. Expect to be moving 15–20 minutes after you reach the vehicle instead of the usual hour.
Concerts and other events
Stadium concerts (summer tours) end late — 11 p.m. or after — and the trip back to Long Island crosses two bridges at midnight. Book as-directed so the chauffeur is waiting rather than dispatched from home. Same for college football, international soccer friendlies and monster truck events; timing is similar to NFL games.
Can you pick up multiple stops (two or three homes) on the way?
Yes. Additional stops within the same area are included in as-directed bookings.
What’s the minimum booking for a MetLife trip?
Because of the distance, we book MetLife as a 6-hour as-directed minimum from Long Island, 5 hours from Manhattan.
Can we drink in the vehicle?
Yes — Sprinters and party buses for passengers 21+. Please, no glass.
Do you also serve Prudential Center and Red Bull Arena?
Yes, and both are shorter trips. Ask when booking.
What if the game is delayed by weather?
